"But wait" (we hear you cry) "What's a YAMZA!?"
YAMZA! is a new Eastern fusion cuisine created by Master Chef of GB Ed McLachlan.
We get our name from the Arabic word "yamzaj", meaning blend - because that's what we're all about, bringing together big, bold, and beautiful Eastern flavours to create something entirely original.
Inspired by his time as exec chef for the royal family of Dubai, Chef Ed has cooked up some delicious new dishes - think succulent shawarma, banging fusion bowls, and full-on fries.

How It Started
Have you met Ed McLachlan? He’s the mastermind behind YAMZA! and a certified Master Chef of GB. Ed actually became a Master Chef back in 2011, when he was just 24 – making him the youngest in the world!
Since then, he’s headed up top restaurants, taken to the high seas on some super yachts (snatching MYBA Yacht Chef of the Year along the way), led a series of spectacular Embassy Gala dinners and developed original menus with 15 multi-Michelin star chefs.
Endlessly passionate about learning new techniques, Ed embarked on a “food world tour” (sounds tasty, no?) which led him to become exec chef for the royal family of Abu Dhabi.
It was in the royal kitchen that Ed first hit upon the idea for YAMZA! Innovating beautiful Middle Eastern flavours with bold new ingredients and techniques he’d learned from around the globe, Ed created a Full-On Eastern Fusion that he couldn’t wait to share with the rest of the world.
